Review by hotel critic
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Cimabue in Florence, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and attention to detail. The room was a true gem - spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated, providing a cozy ambiance that instantly made me feel at home. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even allowing us to store our luggage post-checkout so we could explore the nearby attractions hassle-free, a gesture that truly enhanced our experience. The hotel's strategic location, within walking distance of iconic landmarks like the museum of San Marco by Angelico and the Galleria dell'Accademia, made it a perfect choice for exploring the city without any transportation woes. The abundance of electric sockets in the room was a thoughtful touch, catering to our modern-day needs seamlessly. The bed was not only large and comfortable but also had an additional couch/futon bed, providing unexpected flexibility and further showcasing the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The complimentary breakfast, though simple, was satisfactory, offering a decent start to the day. In terms of amenities, the presence of a fridge and a safe in our room added a layer of convenience, while the flat-screen TV allowed for some downtime after a day of sightseeing.
